n cap juluca reopens with summer-rate offer


The Cap Juluca Hotel in Anguilla is extending its summer rates until December 17 to celebrate its reopening this autumn following last year’s hurricane Lenny. The hotel, which opens on October 28, is offering a superior room with terrace and marble shower for £206 per couple per night and aone-bedroom private pool suite at £593 per couple per night.


n Conrad international gets wedding licence


The Conrad International London has been granted a civil wedding licence. It claims to be the only five-star 160 room all-suite hotel in the capital that now offers a wedding and reception service. The hotel is offering couples apackage from £60 per person. The basic price includespre-drinks, a three-course menu, reception venue, and a silver cake knife.


n anchor hotel brightens up for business


The Anchor Hotel in Haydon Bridge, Northumberland has just undergone a £50,000 facelift. The revamp included giving the former courthouse a vivid new paint scheme. The hotel is popular with North Pennine ramblers.
