Delegates sign for Midconsort
MIDCONSORT has signed up 260 delegates so far to its conference, due to be held in Cyprus in November.Managing director Mike Gates said 65% of those are agent members. The figure already outstrips the number at last year’s event in Palma, Majorca, which attracted a total of 200 delegates.
Topics at the conference, which is called The Way Ahead, include charging a fee, fraud and technology.
A full list of speakers will be announced soon but the list includes Travel Weekly editor Jeremy Skidmore and ABTAchief executive Ian Reynolds. The cost of the conference, to be held in Paphos on November 24 and 25, is £225 plus a registration fee.
Midconsort is subsidising the cost of flight supplements from regional airports to allow as many agents as possible from Scotland and the north to attend the conference.
