OAGrelaunches on-line information service for corporate travellers
BUSINESStravel information provider OAG has relaunched its portal OAG.com whichit claims will help frequent travellers stay ahead of last-minute delays and cancellations. And future enhancements will give users the ability to book flights, car rental and hotels in destination cities.
Users will now have access to millions of direct and connecting flight details while airlines, hotel companies and car-rental organisations can place messages at the point of planning a trip or revising a schedule. In addition, OAGMobile offers frequent business travellers the chance to access all this information on the move via WAPphones.
It also allows a further feature, OAG E-Notification service, where travellers can request a flight update to be automatically sent to them, regardless of the service used to book the flight.
The flight information can also be forwarded on to a colleague, friend or family member who may need to know the airline’s status.
OAG’s chief executive officers Paul Virik said:”Our goal is to create personalised service and product content based on the individual criteria of visitors to our site.”
