E-commerce Expo 2000 will showcase 120 companies offering new products to businesses interested in entering the e-commerce market. The event will be held at the NEC in Birmingham between March 28 and 30.

India specialist Greaves Travel has launched a Web site that features an interactive tour of the destination. The site also includes a question and answer e-mail service, climate and medical advice and a brochure request facility. It can be found at www.greavesindia.com.



n altavista uk signs up

Internet search engine AltaVista UK has signed up Travelstore.com to become its exclusive provider of flights, hotels, car rental and travel insurance.



AltaVista has 2.4m users a month in the UK. It claims its index covers 95% of UK Web sites.



n anite travel agrees deal with carus



Anite Travel has signed a deal with Finnish software development company Carus to market its ferry reservation and check-in system worldwide. Carus’ system, branded CarRes, will become part of a portfolio of travel systems offered to Anite’s clients.



n Brittany Ferries updates web site news



Brittany Ferries has added information on the current oil pollution on the west coast of France to its Web site. The site can be found at: www.brittanyferries.co.uk.
