Inghams puts agents on skis with UK shows
TRAVEL agents are being given the opportunity to experience the thrill of skiing at a series of autumn roadshows being run by Inghams travel at seven artificial slopes around the country.Inghams is aiming to build on the success of its two previous roadshows which saw a direct increase in sales. Last year, 1,500 agents took advantage of the free skiing lessons.
The main aim is to help agents build confidence when it comes to handling a ski booking but the emphasis is on fun and retailers don’t have to be able to ski to take part.
The second highlight of the ski evenings, after learning to go downhill, is the chance to enter a tombola to win a holiday for two at one of Inghams’ featured ski resorts. The operators is also putting on food and wine to make the roadshows fun events.
All the roadshows start at 6pm and venues include Sunderland Silksworth Sports Complex tomorrow, Plymouth Ski Centre on September 14 and Tamworth Snowdome on September 18.
