Irish Ferries fares deal extended
IRISH Ferries has extended a cheap fare deal for passengers that depart and return on Wednesdays until October 1.
The promotion, which was originally timed to end on August 30, offers passengers savings of up to 40% if they travel mid-week.
Prices start at £149 return for a car plus two passengers on the Pembroke to Rosslare crossing.
Irish Ferries main competitor on the Irish Sea, Stena Line, recently extended its cheap Wednesday fare deal until the end of the year. Stena admitted that business to Ireland had been flat generally this year (Travel Weekly August 28).
