Eurotunnel in strike ballot
EUROTUNNEL train drivers are to vote over whether to disrupt cross-Channel services with a series of 24-hour strikes.
The result of the ballot, which kicked off today, will be known in around three weeks.
The action has been prompted by the company’s decision to recognise and negotiate pay and conditions with the Transport and General Workers Union but not with the train drivers’ union ASLEF.
