BRITISH Airways chairman Lord Marshall has insisted Concorde is safe and expects it to resume flying. Speaking ahead of talks with airlines, manufacturers and regulators, Lord Marshall said he was confident the supersonic jet will return to the skies following July’s tragedy. “We are confident we will get it back in the air but we don’t know when and that’s the problem,” he said. Lord Marshall claimed pilots and BA engineers are “convinced” Concorde is safe, added changes would have to be agreed with the regulators and the manufacturers about how to implement them.
