Aurigny adds new flights for winter
CHANNEL Island airline Aurigny Air Services is looking to boost winter business with additional flights and a range of new fares.
Expanded routes in the company’s new winter 2000/2001 timetable, which runs from October 29 to March 24 next year, include an extra 250 seats every week on the Guernsey-Stansted route, as well as an extra daily service from Alderney-Southampton, bringingthe total on that route to three per day.
The company has also introduced two new fares on its Trislander services, offering savings of up to 25% on the fully flexible ticket price.
Aurigny managing director Malcolm Hart said: “We have had a very successful summer, with strong growth on both our regional and inter-islandservices.
“We aim to continue this expansion during the winter, and the increased capacity on many routes is clear evidence of this.
“The introduction of lower fares also demonstrates our commitment to provide even greater value for money for customers,” he added.
Prices start at £94 returnfor flights from Alderneyto Southampton, including taxes.
