Operators must acknowledge role agents play

HERE is yet another example of operators not supporting agents.

I received a letter from Sovereign Holidays today saying “book your holiday with Sovereign from the comfort of your home and save 10% with half-price insurance”.

The letter then went on to encourage would-be clients to “obtain your brochure from your local travel agent and then sit back and book direct”. Do tour operators not realise we are the life blood of the travel industry?

Without us I am sure their bookings would drop dramatically.

Come on tour operators, you need us to support us.
