New logo
Hoseasons looks to update image
HOSEASONShas launched a new logo and catchphrase in a bid to update its image.
Managing director Ken Gaylard said the company wanted to move away from its association with British boating holidays, which was seen by customers as boring and old fashioned.
Hoseasons now also offers holiday lodges and parks, upmarket country cottages and self-catering accommodation in Ireland and Europe.
Gaylard said:”Following the research, which was carried out in March, we decided we had to change things.
“We really wanted to cast ourselves away from the shadow of the past. The company is gradually changing, but this is the first major change we had in store.”
The logo was designed to capture the market’s perceptions of Hoseasons’ holiday experience as distinct from those of other operators. The new logo incorporates the slogan ‘Your freedom – your choice’.
Gaylard said:”Our marketplace has become more competitive.
“We are keen to strengthen the emotional bond we already have with our existing customers and engage new audiences with our marketing efforts.”
