&#42 seven italian fares reduced in ba offer

British Airways is offering round-trip fare reductions on seven Italian routes from London. These savings include £100 off to Milan, £93 reductions to Naples, £88 on Bologna, £76 on Venice, £30 on Pisa (for Florence) and £17 off Rome prices. Lead-in prices are £179 to Milan and £199to Venice.

&#42 Italian life adds150 properties

Italian Life is to add more than 150 properties to its 2001 programme of quality villas, following what it describes as its breakthrough year in gaining trade awareness and support. Sales are set to double last year’s and its new programme will feature 650 properties.

&#42 milan and verona attract interest

Short-break specialist Travelscene said the cities of Milan and Verona are showing the biggest increases in visitor interest. Business to Milan hasgrow by 44% so far this year compared to the same period in 1999, whilesales for Verona have jumped 74%. Italy is Travelscene’s fourthbest-selling country, where it offers 10 cities.

&#42 choice addsthree properties

Choice Hotels has added three properties in Milan and Verona, giving the marketing consortium 17 hotels across Italy. The chain plans to open another 12 hotels in the country by the end of next year.

&#42 ryanair expands stansted services

Ryanair launched three routes from Stansted to Italy during the summer.It offers daily flights to Lamezia Terme in Calabria and Alghero in Sardinia, and a twice-daily service to Brescia in Lombardy.
