Jersey to chip away at its lobster image

As far as restaurants are concerned, you’re likely to think of fine dining in French restaurants when Jersey is mentioned.
Lobster, or at least fish, and chips seems to be the staple diet of more earthy seaside resorts like Blackpool and Scarborough. Actually, come to think of it, perhaps some lobster and chips advertising might liven Jersey up a little bit.
JERSEY Tourist Board’s next marketing campaign will try to rid the Channel Islands of its ‘lobster and chips’ image and focus on clean beaches, French past and a slower way of life.
Are we missing something here?Does Jersey really have a lobster and chips image?
