* tourist board to run new TV commercials
National print advertising in Tourism New Zealand’s £1 million 100% Pure New Zealand promotion campaign will be supported by a three-week burst of TV commercials in January, backed by the soundtrack Don’t Dream It’s Over, by Neil Finn.
* Clients to getholiday planner
The 2001 Tourism New Zealand Holiday Planner will be launched on January 2 with an extended section in the directory on itinerary planning. More than 100,000 copies of this year’s planner have been distributed to consumers.
* uk office to exhibit at additional shows
Tourism New Zealand’s UK office will attend consumer holiday shows in London and Dublin early in the new year. These are Dublin Holiday World, January25-28, and Destinations in London, on February 1-4.
