* luton airport has passenger increase
Luton Airport saw a rise in passenger numbers last month with 634,357 passengers using the airport. Scheduled services accounted for 69% of capacity and charter flights and inclusive tours took up 31% of passengers. The growth is seen as a result of the airport’s new terminal and improved departures and arrivals areas. The airport predicts more than six million passengers will pass through its doors this year.
