Virgin starts Financial Channel

VIRGIN Atlantic has launched a financial information service for its flying club members.

The Financial Channel will allow business travellers to stay in touch with the world’s financial markets, and will feature up to date information on stocks and shares, exchange rates and global financial news stories. The service is provided by Bridge, a financial information provider based in the US, and will be free to flying club members with an on-line account.

Virgin Atlantic partnership marketing manager Jeremy Simmonds said: “We are the first airline to offer a service of this nature that ensures members are able to get current financial information for free merely by logging on.”
