Maersk Air extends night-stop service to help business travellers
DANISH airline Maersk Air is expanding its night-stop service between Gatwick and Copenhagen this winter, offering business travellers an extended working day of up to six hours.
From October 30, the flights will increase from five to six flights weekly. These will be daily except Sunday to Copenhagen and except Saturday to Gawick.
Services will leave Gatwick at 7.15am and 6.55am on Monday and Wednesday. Return flights leave Copenhagen at 7.25pm, arriving in Gatwick at 8:20pm.
Maersk Air general manager UK and Ireland Barry Prior said: “The operation of Maersk Air’s last flight of the day to the UK from Copenhagen enables us to position the aircraft overnight at Gatwick in readiness for an early departure the following day.
Special business-class three-day return fares are available from £405, a 14% saving compared to the airline’s normal point-to-point business-class fare of £470. Fully flexible three-day economy fares are available from £350, exclusive of tax, fees and charges.
