Crossair looks to close routes
CROSSAIR may close loss-making routes and sell some of its aircraft.
The Swiss airline claims it may have to take the action, resulting in the loss of 200 staff, to ensure the economic future of the carrier. A Crossair spokeswoman said: “This is definitely not going to affect UK routes, they are all successful.”
She added Crossair has increased its London City to Zurich service as of yesterday with the introduction of another flight. This brings the total to six flights daily. The additional flight will depart Zurich at 2:05pm and arrive at London City at 3:15pm.
