Cayman Islands
Delegation puts focus on agents
The Cayman Islands is set to launch an agents’ initiative at World Travel Market with the aim of building on its already successful Cayman Islands Specialist Agent programme.
CISA is to be reprinted and targeted at agents who did not complete the course when it was first introduced.
Visiting from the three islands – Grand Cayman, Little Cayman and Cayman Brac – will be Angela Martins, director of tourism for the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism, and a range of hotel representatives including those from the Brac Reef Resort/Little Cayman Beach Resort, Treasure Island and Sunshine Suites.
New property Sunshine Suites will be exhibiting for the first time. The suites fill an accommodation gap between the luxury hotel and traditional US-style condominium.
The property features both self-catering and hotel facilities, such as a pool, front desk and breakfast service.
Other accommodation developments that agents can get details on include a new Holiday Inn – under construction and due to open later this year – and Cobalt Cost Resort and Suites, due to open on December 1.
The Comfort Suites, Grand Caymanian and Crescent Point are other new properties which opened earlier this year.
