You came up trumps ABTA
LAST year I complained that the ABTA convention was becoming too insular with the majority of sessions discussing the usual old industry chestnuts of tour operators’ direct-sell policies, telephone numbers in brochures and other general threatening channels of distribution.
This is why I want to be the first to give ABTA the credit for taking on board those criticisms and acting upon them. The debates covering the wider issues were enlightening, motivational and entertaining.
