The Hong Kong Tourist Association has appointed a new area director for northern Europe to replace Don McDougall.
Sue Whitehead joins from Regal Hotel Group where she was director of marketing. Her role at HKTA will include managing the destination’s representation across the major European markets of UK, Ireland, the Netherlands and Nordic countries and the Middle East; developing trade relations and increasing visitor arrival figures.
McDougall left the HKTA last summer to join the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism. Regal has yet to find a successor for Whitehead.
