THOMSON specialist holiday division managing director Andy
Perrin has quit saying he no longer wants to work for a large corporation.
He said he was keen to return to a small, privately run
organisation where he can influence all aspects of the business.
Perrin, who became MD as part of Charles Gurassa’s
management restructure in February, will leave at the end of the year, creating
more upheaval within the Kingston based specialist division.
However, he has already taken a back seat and his role has
been divided on a temporary basis between Simply and Magic Travel managing
director Paul Bradley and the division’s finance director David Rowe.
Perrin stressed his departure was amicable and said he
strongly believed in the revised structure and direction the specialist
division was heading.
