* Argo Holidays adds Jordan extensions
Specialist Cyprus operator Argo Holidays features an add-on extension to Jordan for winter 2000/01. Clients can combine a stay in Cyprus with a two orfive-day break in Jordan’s capital Amman. Lead-in prices for 10 nights in Cyprus followed by four nights in Jordan start from £789 per person based on two sharing half-board in Jordan and bed and breakfast in Cyprus, staying at the three-star Navaria Hotel in Limassol.
* JMC to open holiday village resort
A village-style resort exclusive to JMC will open by next April. Set in 22 acres of land, the Paphian Sun Holiday Village will have extensive facilities for families. Located on a beach five miles from Paphos, the development has swimming pools, a health club, tennis courts and scuba diving facilities. It offers self-catering or all-inclusive. Prices for four adults sharing an apartment start from £385 for seven nights’ self-catering, with flights.

* new style £150m resort to 0pen in 2001
A £150 million resort is under construction in Cyprus, 11 miles from Paphos. Aphrodite Hills is the first integrated golf, tourist, leisure and real estate development of its kind on the island. An 18-hole, world-class golf course is set to open in September next year, as well as a health club and spa, a tennis academy and a village area with shops, restaurants and pool.
