Irish Ferries focuses on range of holidays in new training module
IRISH Ferries has launched the fourth module of its self-study training programme.
The module focuses on the different types of holidays in Ireland, from self-catering trips to city breaks in Dublin and Cork, cruising on the Shannon and cycling safaris.
There are also selling tips for agents, emphasising the good exchange rate and various festivals held throughout the year.
Business development manager Marie McCarthy said almost 3,000 agents have received the previous three modules.
Agents who have correctly filled in the four questionnaires sent out with the modules will receive a certificate, £25 of Marks and Spencer vouchers and a free trip to Ireland for themselves and four friends.
* Irish Ferries is offering agents the chance to take part in a virtual educational by touring its roll-on, roll-off and fast ferries over the Internet. Agents can see 360 degree images of the ferries, including the new ship Ulysses, which launches next spring, viewing their shopping, restaurants and entertainment facilities. To take part, agents should go to www.irishferries.com followed by a forward slash and the name of the ship they want to tour.
