Lunn Poly ditches service charges

Report by Jeremy Skidmore

LUNN Poly has become the first multiple to drop all service
fees for low-cost bookings.

Since April last year, the market leader has charged £10 for
bookings under £100 but has axed the policy after it proved unpopular with
clients.

The news will be a blow to high-street travel agents who
think they will be able to convince clients to pay fees.

Lunn Poly commercial director Mark Pritchard said: “Fees
didn’t get a good reception from our clients.”
