THE PROPOSED strike that threatened to disrupt Luton airport
during the Christmas period has been called off.
Members of the Transport and General Workers Union have accepted
revised working terms and conditions from management following further talks
between the two sides.
The TGWU had threatened industrial action because its
members did not agree with the results of a business review that would have
seen some staff receive a pay cut.
