HILTON is to expand its Glasgow-based reservations team and Hilton
HHonours reward programme because of increased demand for both services.
The company will create 140 new jobs and spend £500,000 in
a multi-media customer contact system that will enable customers to communicate
with Hilton via email and Web-chat. The expansion coincides with the move of
Hilton’s Glasgow office to new premises in April.
During the year 2000, Hilton Reservations Worldwide grew
three-fold due to customer demand and an increase in the company’s portfolio of
properties.
