Threatened Ryanair strike called off

Report by John Lavabre

RYANAIR pilots have decided to call off a threatened strike
following the agreement of a new pay deal.

The pilots have accepted a 15% salary increase over the next
five years and share options.

This is the second threatened strike at Ryanair in three
months. Last November the pilots had threatened to strike but the action was called
off after the airline agreed to increased flight allowances, improved rostering
arrangements and a 3% pay increase.
