n lambrianides joins olympic holidays



Cyprair Holidays manager Photis Lambrianides has left the company to join rival operator Olympic Holidays as commercial director. He spent 12 years at Cyprair and starts the new role this week.



n luton airport sees 27% capacity hike



Luton Airport increased capacity by 27% in 1999, carrying 5.2m passengers, with 74% of them on scheduled services. Meanwhile, an increase in traffic at Liverpool Airport enabled it to double its capacity last year, handling 1.3m passengers.



n premier/excel travel complete merger



Midlands-based Premier World Travel has completed the merger of its retail division with Excel Travel and is now operating under the new name Premier Excel Travel, specialising in late availability holidays, the Canary Islands, the Caribbean, Greece and Cyprus. Premier World Travel has retained its identity, specialising in business travel.



n anderson leaves top easygroup position



EasyJet’s umbrella organisation EasyGroup is looking for a new marketing director following the resignation of Tony Anderson who is to leave to join direct-banking operation Egg. A spokesman for Anderson said he is still working on a number of projects but will leave in a few weeks.



n radisson to reveal new global identity



Radisson is to unveil its new global identity on Wednesday in the Grand Ballroom at the Portman Hotel, London. Radisson SAS Hotels Worldwide president and CEO, Kurt Ritter, Radisson Hotels Worldwide president Jay Witzel and Radisson Edwardian Hotels chairman Jasminder Singh will be attending the launch.
