THE AIR New
Zealand Ansett Australia group has unveiled a new management structure to
complete the integration of the two airlines.
Key changes will
see the introduction of a group sales and distribution division to be led by
former general manager of Ansett Australia, Andrew Millar; a group customer
service division, headed up by Lesley Grant, formerly manager customer
operations and performance; and a group strategy, network and marketing
division to be led by former executive general manager strategy George Frazis.
General manager of
Air New Zealand International Grant Lilly and general manager of Ansett
International Garry Kingshott have left.
The changes come
as Air New Zealand reports what it describes as a “very disappointing”
performance for the first six months following the acquisition of Ansett
Australia on June 23 last year.
The Group recorded
a pre-tax trading loss of £337,000.
