Tradewinds and Cosmos are offering couples the opportunity to renew their wedding vows in exotic long-haul destinations. The service is featured at most hotels in the Cosmos Weddings brochure, while Tradewinds is offering the service in Barbados, Jamaica, St Lucia, the Bahamas and Turks and Caicos.

Somak Holidays is considering offering weddings in Thailand and Mauritius for the first time. The company confirmed it was looking at prices and logistics.



n JTS set to feature ceremonies at historic settings



Jersey Travel Service is planning to introduce weddings in historic locations from next year following an imminent change in the law which will allow couples to marry in places other than registry offices and churches.



n harlequin launches european programme



Caribbean specialist Harlequin has launched a new European programme with a selection of properties ideal forhoneymoons. Three and seven-night packages are featured in the new Connoisseurs European Collection. Prices start at £381 per person for three nights at El Castell in thePyrenees.



n JMC adds new options in bahamas for 2000



JMC has added weddings in the Bahamas to its programme from May 2000. Prices start at £499 for the weddingpackage. The destination will be featured in the operator’s revamped dedicated weddings brochure due to be launched later this month.



n First Choice introduces ski deals



First Choice is offering ski weddings in Austria and Canada for the first time from this winter. Prices start at £349 for a wedding in Austria and £399 for Canada. The operator has also started selling weddings at Walt Disney World in Florida, which start at £1,099.
