Industry pays tribute after death of Riddle

Report by Travel Weekly reporter

THE TRAVEL industry has been paying tribute to Guild of
Business Travel Agents manager Mike Riddle, who died suddenly last week.

Riddle, 63, had been with the GBTA for 10 years and before
that had spent 37 years at British Airways.

He was due to retire in a few months time, but he collapsed
and died while at work last Tuesday. The last project he undertook was to
organise next month’s GBTA conference in Singapore.
