Anite embraces new booking channels with @COM product
ANITE Travel Systems has launched a product to allow operators to embrace booking channels of the future at less cost.
The idea of @COM Dynamic Business Architecture is to provide tour, ferry and cruise operators with one system that can be easily adapted to take bookings from new channels such as interactive digital television, mobile phones and broadband Internet.
Instead of having to invest in another system to handle bookings from a new channel, operators will be able to pay significantly less to adapt the @COM system. Anite has developed the multi-channel product over five years to respond to the expected increase in traffic from new booking channels.
Anite operations director Noel Donovan said: “Many operators have to take advantage of new channels but we’re finding it’s often a quick fix approach.”
Already @COM has been used to deliver 25 bookable Web sites to operators.
