Company History

1995: owner of Gold Crest retires and Mark Hartshorne buys the company. Gold Crest sells through 250 retail agents, mostly in Northern England. A total of 800 passengers are carried.

1998: Gold Crest carries 10,000 passengers.

1999: Gold Crest holds its first travel agent educational for 100 retail staff.

2000: Gold Crest launched ‘Freedom for Groups’ to meet demand for the tailor-made groups market. In October, the launch of the 2001 brochure sees number of products increase to 52.

2001: Alan Judge joins as retail sales manager.
