&#42 Ayscough travel appoints business developer

Business travel management company Ayscough Travel has appointed Elaine Hunter to develop new business in Scotland. Hunter takes over from David Glover, who left Ayscough inJanuary. Hunter joined Ayscough in 1998 as branch manager in Glasgow, prior to which she was American Express’ account manager for central Scotland.

&#42 De vere whites hotel cuts conference tariff

De Vere Whites Hotel in Bolton has reduced its 24-hour conference tariff from £149 to £105 per delegate on selected dates in June, July and August. The 125-room hotel has 60 meeting suites to accommodate up to 550 people. The price includes the option of a Football Fanatics theme dinner for bookings of 72 hours or more.
