Covering 50 miles of white-sand beaches on the Gulf of Mexico in the southwest, the area includes Sanibel and Captiva islands, Fort Myers, Bonita Springs and Boca Grande resorts.
Aside from promoting its outdoor sports and recreation, a key focus at Pow Wow will be the introduction of a wide range of new accommodation.
Opening in the autumn is the 450-room Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort in Bonita Springs, complete with a spa, adjacent 18-hole championship golf course and private beach island.
This joins the new 107-room inn and conference centre at Sanibel Harbour Resort and Spa in Fort Myers and the Lovers Key Beach Club and Resort just south of Estero Island. The 100-unit property’s amenities include a private beach, fitness room and full kitchen facilities in each room.
