This Week: FSS Travel and Leisure Systems
Report by Juliet Dennis
TRAVEL systems supplier FSS Travel and Leisure Systems is celebrating its 11th year with plans to rebrand products within its portfolio after merging with its subsidiary.
Systems supplier Travellog Systems has been brought under the FSS brand name.
Marketing and e-commerce director Ian Champness said: “The objective of FSS is to present a clear corporate identity to our existing and future clients.”
The company expanded when it bought Travellog Systems, a ferry, train and specialist operator systems supplier.
The result was to create the largest travel software company in the UK.
This year FSS, based in Bracknell, has an expected sales turnover of £10.5 billion. It has a total of 138 clients, including Travellog’s 58 operators. Of FSS’s own 80 clients, 57 of the tour operators hold Air Travel Organisers’ Licenses.
A total of 80 travel companies in the UK and overseas use FSS as their supplier.
