Honeymoon brochure ‘to fill gap in market’

JMC has introduced a dedicated Honeymoons brochure for 2001/02 which, it claims, will fill a gap in the market.

It features both short and long-haul destinations and is divided into seven lifestyle categories rather than by resort. Customers can choose between all-inclusive properties, lively resorts, spa and sports, out of the ordinary, pure luxury, culture or ‘away from it all’ properties.

Product director Alan MacLean said: “There is nothing in the market that caters exclusively for honeymooners. Research among agents highlighted a gap for such a product. It proves there are still opportunities for product development.”

The brochure is based on Sunday and Monday departures with prices per couple instead of per person. They start at £739 for seven nights’ bed and breakfast at the Grecian Sands in Ayia Napa.

Holidays include taxi transfers and champagne and chocolate on JMC flights.
