Hicks quits Inghams to join cruiseline
INGHAMS sales manager Lawrence Hicks is leaving the ski operator to head a five-year development project with Norwegian Coastal Voyage.
He will take up the newly created role of head of business development at the end of next month after six years with Inghams. “Norwegian Coastal Voyage is embarking on a growth plan and it will be my job to implement that,” said Hicks. “I will be looking at distribution, new business areas and generally raising the profile of the company. It’s a very exciting opportunity for me.”
Hammersmith-based Norwegian Coastal Voyage has 12 ships in its fleet. It operates cruises to the fjords during the summer and carries about 8,000 passengers from the UK.
