TRAVEL
trade ticket agency Encore has joined forces with Cameron Mackintosh
productions and Bateaux London river cruises to launch a midweek short break
package.
The
package, launched earlier this month, includes a lunch cruise on the River
Thames with a matinee ticket for either Cats, the Witches of Eastwick or the
Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables and is valid on Tuesdays, Wednesdays
and Thursdays.
Encore
managing director John Wales said the aim is to encourage more group bookings
through tour operators for West End shows. “This package combines the best
sights in London and the best of the West End shows and means that operators
can book one ticket for both at a special price.”
Tickets
for a group of 15 or more cost £43.50 each instead of the normal price of
£58.50.
Agents
will also benefit by getting 10% commission on each booking and for every
booking and for every booking made for the Witches of Eastwick they will get a
free two course meal at Planet Hollywood.
Customers
booking before the end of June can also benefit from a discount of £6 per
ticket.
