TRAVEL websites are doing well at attracting big on-line
spenders in the US, according to a new study.
The ‘netScore Buying Power Index’ report, carried out by
technology companies comScore and Diameter, studied consumer on-line buying
patterns throughout May.
It found travel sites attract consumers who spend more on
average per person than sites dedicated to shopping.
Among the 20 most successful websites were Hertz.com,
Basshotels.com and Hilton.com.
