TRAVELCARE has revealed plans to add around 100 branches to
its retail network and expand its direct sales division.
The independent chain wants to increase its presence in
Scotland and the south of England in particular to create a national identity.
It currently has 365 branches, mainly covering the Midlands and northern England.
Head of operations Barry Marchant said: “We are a little
sparse in the south and that is where we are targeting growth. The expansion
will give us 450 shops by the end of next year and we need to have national
coverage. We will look at acquisition or the development of Greenfield sites.”
