WORLD Travel Holdings, owners of the World Travel Direct and
Deckchair.com websites, has acquired German Internet-based travel company TISS
AG in a deal worth £625,000.
TISS, which operates the TISS.com and Flights.com websites,
has a large customer base in both Germany and the US.
WTH plans to expand TISS into Canada where it is already a
prominent on-line supplier of net fares to the travel trade.
