THE
ENGLISH Tourism Council has issued a reminder to nominate entrants for the
Safeway Excellence in England Awards.
The awards
acknowledge good quality English holidays and have four categories: the
outstanding customer service award, most improved English seaside resort, best
in England and best example of marketing in tourism. The awards were launched
at the beginning of the month but there is still time to nominate potential
winners.
Chief
executive of the ETC Mary Lynch said: “The awards highlight the many
outstanding places that England has to offer visitors, and with the foot and
mouth crisis making such a serious dent in the English tourism industry this
year, these awards are more important than ever before.”
