THEMANAGING director of network supplier X-Tant, David Osborne, has been seconded to parent company NTL.
He is working within a team headed by NTL’s group managing director of business telecommunications Chris Hutchings at its head office in Hook, Hampshire.
Osborne joined the network supplier on March 1 last year, shortly after it was acquired in a joint buyout by key staff of previous owner AT&T Istel and communications company NTL (Travel Weekly March 22).
Deputy managing director Daman Singh, who presently holds the title of acting managing director, said the secondment was open-ended but that Osborne may return to X-Tant in a couple of months time. Meanwhile, Osborne’s wife Gail Osborne, who was formerly X-Tant’s operations director, has left the company.
Singh said Gail Osborne resigned this month following a period of sick leave. Her responsibilities have been split between network operations director Dave Harwood and marketing director Kerry Wilce. Neither David or Gail Osborne were available for comment.
