Libra said customers are reluctant to book holidays in Egypt, while sales for Morocco and Tunisia have slowed. Bales Worldwide has seen bookings for Egypt fall, but its Morocco programme is full in terms of late and winter bookings. Customers unwilling to travel to Egypt are being directed towards South Africa and unusual destinations such as South America and China. BA Holidays and Thomas Cook Holidays have seen Egypt bookings cancelled in the short term, although post-Christmas is brighter.
