Demand from UKholidaymakers is on the up as customers swap plans for luxury holidays to the Middle East and the Indian Ocean for the Caribbean.
Sandals has seen a rise in late bookings over the same time last year. St Lucia and Antigua are performing better than Jamaica which is suffering from the images of unrest in Kingston in July. Sandals’ Beaches product is also selling well. Calls to Kuoni about the Caribbean were up 43% last week compared to the previous week.
