Dressing down
Believe it or not, working the lecture circuit has some hazards, as proved by Rapid Travel chief executive officer Lawrence Hunt.
Hunt, who was speaking at the 4th Annual Chartered Institute of Marketing Travel Industry Group Telewest Seminar, took to the podium in a shirt and tie.
“Apologies for not wearing a jacket,” a rather flustered Hunt told delegates, “but I’ve just thrown red wine all over it.”
Quite how Hunt managed to adorn his jacket with red wine was not revealed. Question is, who is going to pay the dry cleaning bill?
