PAGE andMoy is to offer non-travel companies the chance to sell holidays on the Internet through its Web site.
The retailer has launched Electronic Page andMoy and its Web site, www.go-nowtravel.com, will be available to corporate clients to extend their brand into travel.
Supermarkets, health companies and banks will be able to brand the site under their own name and promote the fact that they are now selling holidays on the Internet.
Clients contacting the site will go through to Page andMoy, which will handle all bookings.
Account director Andrew Healy said around 50 companies, including a supermarket, were interested in the concept.
Typically the corporate client will split commission with Page andMoy.
“This is a quick and easy way for non-travel companies to get into the market,” said Healy. “We are offering clients a ‘white label’ site which they can put their own brand on and we will handle all the bookings and administration.”
Last week, Travel Weekly predicted supermarkets would soon be taking bookings on the Internet.
