FORMER
Thomas Cook chief executive John Donaldson has been appointed deputy chairman
of Holiday Autos board of directors.
Donaldson
left Thomas Cook in April after negotiating the sale of the firm to German
operator C&N Touristic.
He
currently holds the position of chairman on the board of Accoladia, the trading
name for the joint venture between Thomas Cook Holidays and British Airways
Holidays.
Donaldson
will join Holiday Autos in a non-executive advisory role immediately and will
team up with existing board members former chief executive of Anite Group Jon
Richards and Paul Thomas who represents venture capitalist ECI.

admiration the successful international development of Holiday Autos, said
Donaldson. “I look forward to joining the board and contributing to the
company’s continued successful development.”
